Happy Holidays Folks! 🎄 Phillip and I have had a heck of a time dotting down the coast on UbiQ this fall. We’ve never sailed the east coast before and it’s been a blast! Much to share on the HWWT blog! For now, we’re staging up to make the jump to the Bahamas on our Outbound 46. Beautiful, blissful, blue-water islands, here we come! Ho Ho Ho! 🎅 🏝 😎 ⛵️ 🇧🇸

Changes in latitude 🎶 😁 We finally made it south enough for sunshine! 🌞 It’s been really cool cruising the east coast this fall (something Phillip and I have never done before) and we’re excited to share. But this glimpse of crystal green waters, sunshine, and bikini weather told us our journey south has been totally worth it. Our first night on the UbiQ hook, we caught the local scuttlebutt and fortuitously caught an impromptu on-the-water concert by the infamous Eastport Oyster Boys! What an incredible treat?! Have any of you ever had the privilege of hearing this local Eastport, MD band? They made our first night on the new hook unforgettable! Have you ever attended an on-the-water boat concert by dinghy? We can now say we have! What a treat to see the EASTPORT OYSTER BOYS our first night on the UbiQ hook! Connecting (and re-connecting) with fellow cruisers as salty and thoughtful as these two is what really makes our time aboard so memorable. Shout out to @svbluehighway who brought us this awesome “traveling wine bag” which must be signed off and passed down to fellow cruisers who are sailing far and wide.
