Now you see it:
Now you don’t:
And, the Sham-WOW guy says:
“Incredible, right?”
“That IS incredible,” says his infomercial sidekick, the infamous Bob. “ I can’t believe it. Where did it go? Tell me more Shamson!”
Certainly Bob.
You see, while the Chair-Wow may look like a regular old, fold-up camping chair, once you start hacking away on it, you’ll find it’s actually an incredible resource for many handy boat accessories, such as:
A life sling cover for your stern rail:
Ooooohhh ….
A boot cover for your mast:
Ahhhhhhh ….
A pocket pouch for the solar panel of your cockpit lights:
Wooooowwwww!
That’s right, the Chair-Wow is an incredibly versatile resource for boat accessories. And, for only $6.95 (or four easy payments of $1.73!) you too can acquire the Chair-Wow at your local Home Depot or other outdoor furniture store and make all of these handy, colorful, home-made UV-protectant covers and pouches yourself.
Thanks Shamster!
Pretty nifty, right? That lady at the fabric store (who tried to sell me outdoor UV material for $45/yard – pssshhh!) just didn’t know how crafty I could get with a camping chair and a hot glue gun.
UV covers … done!
Next project please?
Funny as hell!!!!!
Bill
Thanks. But, I can’t take all the credit. Who doesn’t love the Sham-WOW guy, am I right? If you liked that, you’ll love this: http://www.thesmokinggun.com/mugshots/celebrity/television/shamwow-guy.
Simply Mahvahlous! You are ingenious. That’s what it takes to be a 1st rate mariner. When stuff goes south out there, as Murphy always tends to show up when you least expect, you gotta be able to MacGyver your way out of it. (i.e. the Dasani water bottle resolution). So tell me though, can you get blood and other bodily fluids out of the shamwow?
Wow. Great question. I have to say, I don’t know. But, I certainly wouldn’t hold a black light up to our chamois …
I know this response may sound trite and I usually demand better from myself but: bwaahahahahahaha!
This is the blog entry I have been waiting for! Let the world see the Chair Wow!! Excellent!
I know I’ve been excited about this one too! “One thousand ways to convert a camping chair.” Yeah buddy!!
Wow! Chair wow. You even matched up the color!
Heck yeah!! That’s “happy camper green.” A very specific shade!! ; )
Annie:
Neat!
