Congrats, Ms. Drake on your publishment, and your new pen name. Quite serendipitous I think. You can work it in to be a long lost relative of Sir Francis Drake, the old sea dog himself. Not a bad maritime legend to be associated with, depending on your point of view (If your Spanish, well maybe not & the slaver thing is kind of a downer). But other than that, a pretty top rated sailor when men were whatever, and ships were wood. He was keep’n it real in the Victorian era yo! Here’s a little of “El Draque”‘s words of wisdom to share with those with a heart for the sea and adventure:

Why thank you Sir Plagge! Good to see you here. Fantastically fitting quote from the Drake-ster himself. I LOVE this part: “when we are too well pleased with ourselves, when our dreams have come true because we have dreamed too little.” Too true. Another fellow blogger of mine said “If our dreams don’t scare us, they’re too small.” All good sentiments. I am certainly dreaming my way to the top (of the National Bestseller List!). Ha ha. No. Like Drake ; ), Bitchin is his pseudonym. It’s okay, Momma Bear, it was just a mistake. Certainly no need for any retractions. I was just excited to see my story out there for the world to read and enjoy. How cool!
